I am opposed to the sale of Blue Cross and Blue Shield to Elevance Health. Blue Cross does a great job
and it makes no sense to me how a for-profit company can deliver results less expensively than a non-
profit

I am a retired state of Louisiana retiree with 40 years of service. I have had Blue Cross Blue Shield as my, Merrill, who I
know is now the attorney general, tried to slip some details over us at a Committee hearing, all in all, the
excisting staff have done their very best to keep the active State employees

From my reading and understnding of the Proposed Plan of Reorganization of Blue Cross Blue Shield of
Louisiana (BCBSLA), the Plan as stated should be denied. The plan is not in the best interests of the
Policyholders as has been demonstrated by the Hause Actuarial Report
