Louisiana Fortify Homes Program
The Louisiana Fortfy Homes Program (LFHP) was established in 2022 and ofers grants of up to $10,000, 3,000 grant applicatons and installed over
800 FORTIFIED-certfed roofs. Homeowners who upgrade, a permanent funding source for

2. Louisiana Fortify Homes Program
Act 554 of the 2022 Regular Session created the Louisiana Fortify Homes Program, but no funding
was made available. The program would provide financial grants to homeowners to assist in the cost
of roof replacement to the FORTIFIED Roof standard.
