Louisiana Department of Insurance
RE: Proposed BCBSLA r e organization
We are BCBS of Louisiana policy holders and we are OPPOSED
to the proposed conversion to a for profit company under the
Elevance Health umbrella. We will submit our NO proxy votes
by mail. Converting to a for profit, out of state company is a
mistake. The policy holders will pay higher premiums, and
ultimately many Louisiana workers will lose jobs. We are happy
with our BCBS coverage
