1. Certification Required

All providers must be certified through IBHS and approved by LFHP before performing any grant-funded work.

2. Onboarding Process

• IBHS certification does not grant entry into the LFHP provider list.




• Providers must be listed in the FORTIFIED Directory.




• Providers must complete the LFHP Provider Application Process.




• Register as an LaGov Vendor HERE.

3. Communication Protocols

• Check the provider portal regularly for updates and notes.




• Respond promptly to LFHP or evaluator questions to avoid delays.

4. Compliance

• Follow all LFHP specs and FORTIFIED construction standards.




• Non-compliance may result in suspension or removal from the provider list.

5. Professional Conduct

Maintain a high standard of professionalism when interacting with homeowners, evaluators, contractors, and program staff.
